One Million Mining Claims Poster

This beautifully illustrated poster has a lot to boast about and sometimes a message is best communicated through art. After gathering the must-haves from BLM such as; recognizing the one-millionth mining claim in Nevada, creating a contrast between the old and new mining techniques and modeling the mining character after Johnny Horizon, the BLM’s mascot primarily known for an anti-liter campaign in the 1970s. We then handed off our conceptual mock-up to the discernable illustrator, Jeff Foster, he ran with it and voila…this fabulous poster was created. Resulting in yet another successful collaboration and an Addy award.
